In January 1996 I met Masakazu Ikeda sensei, this meeting irrevocably confirmed for me that Traditional Japanese Acupuncture was a dynamic and potent therapeutic tool with a gentle non invasive approach that naturally catered for western society's paranoia of needles and was a more than viable alternative/adjunct to the harsher more invasive approach of the TCM.
The average westerner has to overcome a huge psychological barrier to actually receive Acupuncture.
